I couldnt bring myself to vote for any of the main parties. But each to his own.

Ladies and Gents,
If I may.....
I`ve been following this thread as a matter of interest because it doesn`t affect me; but what is obvious......
You are all tying yourselves up in knots and creating stress over something that may never happen.
I`m not a fan of the Tories, I particularly dislike Liebour and, as far as I am concerned, there are no other political parties.
A healthy discussion is advantageous, but taking a negative stance over something that is not set in stone is not. By all means join groups / petitions to voice your opinion & support against the possible changes, but don`t build up to a self -destruct frenzy over something that may not happen.
As someone who is not affected by this proposal (and a proposal is all it is, despite the sensationalistic reporting by the press), I would rather read why these proposed changes affect you; that way I will have a better understanding of those who are worse off than I. I would, therefore, be more inclined to support your cause than now where all I see is "bitching" (sorry mods, I can`t think of another suitable word) about political parties and what they can or can`t do.
