It's not wrong to send further evidence to the DM. They are not obliged to agree with the number of points the Atos doctor awards - they have to take all the sources of information they have into account.

If you're going to send scans, there's nothing to stop you sending other evidence such as medical reports, doctors' letters etc. (Although I suggest that you don't swamp them with stuff.)
