Ask your husband or your councillor to go with you to your GP and get either one to exsplain to your GP your problems and the emotional difficulty you have in speaking up. I hope everything works out for you.God Bless. :)

I believe this shows very clearly how important it is to keep the Gp informed of the effects of your problems. If this is summarized in a letter and on their file the GP would be discredited if they later wrote you had 'no known problems'
Any doubts about the empathy of your gp, and see another in the practice or even consider changing to another practice as a last resort
The other reply that says about keeping a journal or diary is good advice too

Don't know how much more stress i can take? :(
Recieved a letter from DLA saturday morning only took them 4 days to reconsider my claim to uphold their descision of no entitlement...

I can't believe they have also added more things to why they don't think i'm entitled? Saw CAB this morning & have to go back to see them on thursday when they can give me more time to go through the paperwork....

I feel no one believes me that i'm in this pain 24/7 and how low its getting me?

Is it usual for the DWP to add more things to the list of why they will not pay me any DLA?

The Reconsideration is done by a different Decision Maker so naybe he had a different view of you claim.

I know it is very frustrating the this Reconsideration has not overturned the Decision, but very few do.

I know you sent some clarifications with regard to your DLA claim, and your GPs report was less than helpful, but were you able to send any additional evidence?

You still have the option to appeal, and the positive thing, if you can call it that, is that appeals are taking a fair time to be heard, so there is ample opportunity for you to collect up-to-date evidence and re-visit your GPs report.

If you search the forum, you'll see that lots of people win there appeals, so don't feel you have to give up.

I'm seeing my GP tomorrow & taking my husband with me. Its stupid but i'm really scared about seeing him tomorrow because i need to be firm and let him know how disappointed i was with his report?

I did send a letter friday from my counsellor but unfortunately they won't bother with that now!

I know i should fight this because i lost a really well paid job because of my illnesses but i don't think i have the strength? Because it feels like no one has taken me serious i don't like the fact that i feel like i'm begging?? :(

Any advise to the best way to approach my GP with my upset with him, without getting his back up? I have wrote a 'statement of fact' with regards to how my pain & depression is affecting my day to day likfe to be added to my records...
