Sorry Survivor, ignore my last post. I was referring to most CAB offices. There may well be some that provide representation, but I've yet to encounter a member who is being represented by CAB.

Surely with the legal aid cuts there will be even less representation as law centres, etc go out of business?

There is still a charity in my area that represents disability appeals, but even that gets some funding from the Council, so I have doubts how long that service will last.

Thanks Jim. You give me some confidence, I found that you can't rely on anyone, so to be honest with you, I am prepared to do most of jobs on my own. I am helping my husband with his DDA case against his former employer in the employment tribunal. I have to do most of the work and chase the solicitor all the time even though we pay good money for them. I read that you will have to pay back the legal aid once you win, and by law representation is not covered by the legal aid. It is frustrating, but we will give a go on our own, with the help here. Thank you very much.

Thanks Survivor, I think we will let CAB submit the appeal once we have the bundle, and represent on our own. It looks a lot hassle to find someone with the experience to help us for free. Thank you for the support.
