Hi as you know I been fighting my DLA claim since may is last year I have my Appeal next Friday after 10 years of having Firbmyalgia my old doctor had left thank god and I have a nice doctor who I have seen but because he was not my doctor he could not help me as he didn't no I had fibro because I didn't see him that often well anyway I went to see him last week is said well your in a right mess I not been good this last 8 weeks I can no longer walk around like I used to and that was not much 30 yards that's on my claim paper work I cant even stand on my feet now the pain is so bad its like standing on pebbles then I have to walk on them and I also so so tired even more then normal no is it the lack of B12 I also suffer the fibro what .
So got him to do an array of bloods and got the best call l had al week it was the doctors can you please come and see the doctor as we have your bloods back and the RA factor is high and you need seeing. well it might sound wired why was I happy you ask well for years I been telling the old doctor I have bone joint pain what ever you like to call it well my factor is 61 I`m told that's high now is it of not.
I`m sure there are friends out here who will tell me if it is or not the! sad thing is I will not be able to see the doctor before me appeal would it be ok if in the questioning I`m going to get that I drop in that now the RA factor is now showing in my blood what the number is 61 or do I just not say anything about it at all feel it might play a big part in it and its good from what i` seeing on here that we are getting our benefits at last we all seem to be getting our appeals this month good luck everyone lets hope its all good news

the test result numbers are not much good on there own as two people with the same blood result will have differnt problems and pain levels

also other conditions Can Test Positive For Rheumatoid Factor so if giving test results as evidance has the other conditions been ruled out?

get advice on everything you submit

Jacqui,

I note that you can't get to see your G.P. before the Appeal Hearing, have you actually got your bloods results in writing.

If not you may be able to obtain copy of the results from your G.P. practice, even though it would probably take longer than a week to obtain full copy of your G.P. files, they may well provide copy of these recents bloods, with any G.P. comments for a small charge or free of charge, if you tell them of your situation.

Worth a try, and will hold more sway, than just telling the Tribunal verbally.
