GP wont fill in ESA50

I think it will be nigh on impossible to get the GP to fill in form at all and not much easier getting a specialist before the cut off date. I plan to send the report from my osteopath in with the form stating I am doing so because GP refuses.
I had heard you could have medical in UK and I am actually planning to return, in September if I can get my house sold. Do you know how long after the ESA form being returned they call you for a medical?
To be honest not sure I would trust a swedish doc as they seem to be fairly incompetent! Mind you could they be worse than atos?!
My osteopath is going to write a report detailing every problem in my body and there are many! I think it will be more detailed than any GP,s report but whether the DWP will take it seriously is another matter I guess.
My review date was Jan 11 so a little late.

I am afraid I do no know what the time period is between sending back your completed ESA50, and if a medical is required when that would take place. Maybe one of the mods can answer that question for you. If not maybe start a new thread specifically asking that question.
As regards as to which country to have your medical in if required, then I guess it is nice to have the choice, and knowing how UK Atos doctors operate maybe choosing the foreign option could be beneficial. If you feel Swedish doctors are not up to it, then I guess you will know what to expect from the UK. Personally our French GP is very nice, and I feel he will be supportive of my wifes situation when the need arises. Time will tell.
Interesting to hear your review date was 11th January, obviously DWP are running some 4 months late with overseas claimants, we can only hope they get further behind as more and more appeals start stacking up.
The best of luck with whatever route you decide to go down.

Me thinks we may get a fair trial if we lived abroad, i would give anything not to have to go to an atos doctor!!! I wonder if emigration is the answer, but i guess a little bit drastic!!! I don't think they would let me live abroad purely based on disability as i struggle to get health insurance when i do travel.
If you can get your medical done abroad i would go for it rather than returning to UK to be assessed by atos. Reading an earlier post even cancer patients are now being failed on medical. What a sad,sad world we now live in!!!
Good luck
Mm xx
