Most of these are under 25 year-olds and 70% are male.

The number of people who remain on UC at the end of October (caseload) is 2720 and nearly 70% of those claimants are under 25.

It has been announced that the next statistical report will be published in February 2014 and will contain data to 30 November 2013. As well as the offices, featured in the January report, it will contain the first few days of Universal Credit going live in Rugby and Inverness offices.

The DWP plans to expand the range of statistics included reports, when the reliability of the data is confirmed.
