Have you ever asked for, or had, a PIP or ESA face-to-face medical assessment in your home instead of in an assessment centre? If so, you could help other people going through the same process by completing our brief, anonymous survey.
Even if you asked for, but were refused, a home medical we’d really grateful like to hear from you.
The purpose of the survey is to find out whether, and how, people manage to get a home medical and to find out more about what happens at a home assessment.
We’ll use the information you give us to help other people ask for, and prepare for, a home assessment themselves.
We’ll also publish a summary of the results of the survey.
There’s one survey for PIP and one for ESA. If you’ve had a home assessment for both benefits you’re very welcome to complete both surveys.
This survey is entirely anonymous and the results will only be shared in terms of the percentages who gave answers to particular questions, plus anonymous quotes from survey responses.
The surveys are now closed. We will be publishing the results before the end of March.
