For anyone following this topic, I can now add that in the '​Pilot'​ conducted at Newcastle (over '​4 to 6'​ weeks commencing 21 03 2011):-
Of the 500 pre-selected claimants asked by ATOS whether they wanted their medical, recorded 230 said they did and…​

…​exactly 10 '​voluntee​r'​ ATOS '​healthcare professionals'​ were involved in conducting the recorded medicals over the 4-6 week period.

Information on this subject is being squeezed out of the DPA, drop by drop, via FoI,.

Anybody care to comment on how randomised, thorough and representative they think this '​survey'​ was?
