The response was that if I were FIVE MINUTES late, they may reschedule me. Turns out I was 10 minutes early.
I was told immediately that the doctor was 1 HOUR BEHIND!! Of course this was NOT relayed to me when I called, filled with anxiety at the thought that I MIGHT be a few minutes late...!
So, at this point I too break into laughter.
Also, on a serious note, GET IT OVER WITH as soon as you can. Postponement means more anxiety-filled days.

Yesterday I had my medical. I had arranged for a car to stay with me for the duration. I am always on time if not early for appointments. SODS LAW applied and my driver was 15 minutes late. I did call the Atos number on my letter to let them know there was a good chance I would be a little late.
