Occupational Health was created by sasugar
I am still waiting for a date for my Tribunal hearing. In the mean time, do you think it would help me if I paid for an individual Health assessment from a company such as Everwell to assess via their Occupational Health practioners the things that I can and can't do and submit their report to the tribunal before hand? Also, I have found a number of previous case laws which has evidence appertaining to my problems( I was refused DLA twice ) which clearly state reasons the claimants won their appeals on. Would it help me if I printed off these case numbers and gave a copy to members of the tribunal to support my claim. Would I be allowed to do this?
I am having to go to the tribunal alone as I can find no one to help me. Will the tribunal listen to me about the problems I have with my personal care and mobility? I live alone and have a friend who helps me out with bathing and will cook some meals for me but I feel like I am pushing the boundaries of friendship a bit far as I can't afford to pay her for the help she gives me, she can't claim carers allowance as she works full time.
Thank you

Hi,

You can submit any kind of medical evidence to a Tribunal if you feel it could help your appeal.

Good luck.

Thats a good idea ... a good place to find the "right sort" of OT staff is ask a legal firm that does work in the accident area .. there OT staff will be experts at writing the type of report you need for a tribunal/court work ... its different than the report the OT from the local council does for a hand rail or walk in shower
