I was wondering if someone could tell me whether people on DLA have to claim for PIP, or are they transferred over to PIP on the level they are currently with on DLA?
The actual documentation with the explanatory notes for transitional claims for DLA/PIP, as far as I can see, does not say whether a termination of DLA and a new claim for PIP will be required, or whether there will be a migration process in the same way as existing IB claimants will be transferred to ESA.
There is a lot of pre-legislative information floating around at the moment, so it may well be contained in some other document which I have not as yet seen?
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
Interesting point, I also hope it's a migration process!
Since the only problem we have is being disabled, we'll be the last to know of our financial future, and the stress we can look forward to, chin up Catherine, we're all in it together whatever the outcome.
