If your friend does like Derek suggests and gets a copy of his medical report, it will become apparent from the scores awarded for different things which criteria they have applied.

he has got the papers and he does not know where to look and just wondered if there was a tell tale sign somewhere? it is hard as i cant not see the papers.

If you check the medical report, at the back should be two lists of descriptors, one for the physical tests and the other for the mental ones, both completed with the number of points scored for each test.

If there are 21 tests in total (11+10), then it is the old test. If there are a total of 17 (10+7) then it is the new one.
