After over a month of waiting I have received a letter from ATOS stating that a medical has been arranged for the 30th March at my home, naturally I'm getting worried about this, I wondered if anyone has had a home visit with ESA?
Any advice or tips? What do they do?
Also on the letter it states:
An arrangement has been made for you to have a medical assessment/ Work focused health related assessment in your home on ......
What is the difference between the medical assessment and the work focused health related assessment?
If you look in the guide to Understanding ESA in the members area you can find out what a WFHRA is and why they are not currently carrying them out.
There's detailed information about what happens at a medical in the WCA guides. Essentially a home visit will follow the same format except that the report is likely to be handwritten.
Good luck,
Steve
