Hi... hope i'm in time for w/e with my question... I receive incapacity benefit & severe disablement allowance.. when this is taken from 'the amount the law says i need to live on' (whatever that means) they make the amount up with income support... i also receive DLA...

Ok so i receive IB & IS & severe disability... I receive all three so what will happen to the IS & severe disability components if/when i'm migrated to ESA?

I ask because IB is around £90...i would lose around £70 in IS & disability components & guarantees etc...

I've been on IB approx 18 yrs & DLA approx 9 yrs...

does anyone have any ideas?

Have a good weekend all :)

When you move from IB to ESA, instead of getting extra money in the form of IS, you'll get extra bits of ESA according to which category you're in and what rate of DLA you get. So you don't have to worry about your £70, although the rates are slightly different.

If you want to know how much you'd get, go to this site .
