Is support / work component backpayed >13 weeks ? was created by A Kaplan

Just read that if you pass the medical to get ESA you just receive the assesment amount for 13 weeks before you get the support or work component added.

will the support or work component be backpayed after the 13 weeks ?

Hi,

No, for the first 13 weeks you are only entitled to the assessment phase rate of ESA.
