You'll find a guide to Work-focused (pathways to work) interviews in the Work section of the members area which sets out who has to attend.

i have a pathways to work interview on monday and i told my personal advisor i was pca exempt.i was told that even though i still had to go once a year as i was not on the high rate of dla,the middle and lower rates have to attend.Could somebody help me to cofirm this,as the advisor seemed confident she was right and i dont want to be sanctioned for not attending, thanx
what reason makes you think your exempt ?
as without another reason to be exempt what you was told is correct..to be exempt because of dla you need higher rate care

the reason why i think im exempt from pathways to work is because it clearly states that anybody who is exempt form the pca test because of severe illness is also exempt from pathways to work.however being told from a personal advisor that i have to be in receipt of high rate dla goes against this. Why shouldnt somebody question what a personal advisor states.
you need to point out to them that you are exempt, and give them details of the letter you have saying your pca exempt because of your condtion
