Confusion was created by Tony
Sorry if this has all been explained before but I am confused. My incapacity was up for review a few months ago but I was exempt because of my DLA status. So does this mean that I will be one of the first to be seen? As exempt claimants are being seen in the first year
Approximately when late Feb, March or April will I get the call. Do they contact my doctor for evidence or my Psychiatrist or both. Then when I get my E505 or whatever its called how long do I get before I have to send it back please? Then from sending it back to them giving me a date for a medical how long would that be anyone got any ideas? At my medical do they have all my information on their computers in front of them? Or will it be only information relating to my incapacity? Sorry for so many questions I do not sleep properly for the worry

Hi Tony,
From what the DWP have said, claimants who are exempt from the work capability assessment will start the move to ESA within the first year - but we have no way of knowing when in the next year that might be.
We'll be doing a guide to the assessment of IB claimants once it begins, but it will never be possible to answer 'How long' questions except that you will have six weeks in which to return your ESA50 questionnaire.
Good luck,
Steve
