Extraordinary experience at ESA Athos medical was created by Iamawindsurfer
I went to my 2nd medical today. My first was one year ago. I developed 2 more symptoms since the first one. I still have a tribunal on the go, since i havent cancelled the first. It has got really complicated. However, i turned up for this one, a bit fluey and not very well and low and behold the first guy to interview me who issued me with zero points despite my attention to him and explaining about my symptoms in the first interview, was there infront of me again! And he asked exactly the same questions, getting my symptom wrong and then I had to correct him, I really was mad! So I asked for another interviewer. I waited and another lady came, and she said would I like another interview and I said, well, what difference will it make really? And she began to get really livid.. I just really felt fed up, being at the same place some 18 months down the line and still no decision made and feeling ill. She seemed to want me to be all smiling and sweet, but I really wasnt having it, I felt really annoyed. Eventually they decided to give me another date for interview, or report me to DWP

I sympathise with how you felt. Mind you, the interviewer may not have recognised your name and may not have been too happy himself to have ended up with you. A match made in hell.

I have to admit that at my ESA medical, it did cross my mind that if I was unlucky, I could have been assessed by the same nurse that stopped my IB.
If she did assess me again, perhaps I should have chucked the 180 pages of appeal papers on her desk and tell her to read them, as evidence to support my claim!

Well, it has come and gone. I came to my third interview and asked to see 'someone I had not been interviewed with before'. this time I have had a real human being! she passed me as well, in theory that is, 'unless the Job seekers veto it'. WIERD!!!

Hi all
I really dont know where i read this or maybe i dreamt it, but i thought you couldnt be assessed by the same atos dr that you have seen previously!!! My only concern is that they may well run out of Dr or atos representatives if that is the case!!!
Maybe thats what they mean when they say they want to get as many sick and disabled into work! As we know how our disability affects us, we could be working with atos!!! At least this way we would be talking to someone who totally understands!!! We would of course be working for minimum wage!!!
Mm xx
