Hello all, I am new here and hope someone can give me some information. Failed my esa tribunal yesterday altho got more points than in the medical. They actually advised me to put in a new claim for esa as my condition had worsened. However I am unsure about what happens with the mortgage interest help I am getting. Does this just continue on when they get in my new claim? Or do I have to wait 13 weeks from the new claim for it to be re-instated. I was told that if I claimed jobseekers it would just be continued so wondering if that is the case with a new esa claim.

Also re. the doctor's sick (fit!) note does he have to specify on it that my condition has significantly deteriorated?

Any info on the matter would be appreciated as I can find nothing anywhere on this site or on the internet about it and the ESA specialist in the local CAB is not in until next Tuesday.

Thanks for the advice, however when I rang the council they didn't seem to know about it and just suggested I rang the DWP! Has anyone been in the same situation as regards to making a new claim and being in receipt of mortgage interest help and if so what happened with the mortgage interest payments?
