Just a little update and a query if anyone can help. With regards to my own ESA, I have requested an appeal and I have now managed to get the help of a local disability group, who I cannot fault one bit. They have already written to my GP and specialist and my specialist sent back an amazing letter. I will keep you updated on that and hopefully I will join the growing list of success stories!!
Ok, my mum has Fibromyalgia, which she was managing very well with until the death of my brother in a car accident in 2008. Her condition got considerably worse and she now has subsequent depression to add. The doctor stopped her working in May 2009 and we claimed ESA for her in November the same year. She was never turned down for it and after the medical in April this year she was put into the working support group.
However, we have just received a new application form and we don't know why. Can anyone tell me why we have a new form for her so soon and what we need to do with it as she's only been receiving the full entitlement since April this year? What happens next?
