I am must admit I a little perturbed about this: I was told that I was to have a review of my ESA claim in Feb of this year and have yet to receive the ESA50 which will trigger the review.

I suffer from MS and it has severely affected my quality of life due to mobility and continence issues. I have medical reports from 2 healthcare professional so I am not too worried about the form itself, what is concerning me is that IF I don't get it before March of next year then am I going to be subjected to the new descriptors that appear to be coming in, I think i will be okay due to issues mentioned, but must admit to getting more than an a tad concerned for myself and others

Hi,

It will most likely be because ATOS/DWP are somewhat behind in dealing with claims in the area where you live.

I am aware of claimants waiting over a year now for either IB50's or ESA50's to be sent following the end of their previous review period.

You could make contact with the DWP office dealing with your claim, and try to get them to 'Gee' Atos up a bit, but its not certain that works.

The other option of course is to make use of your MP - that seems to get things moving.

Pete
