Help with a question on DLA form. was created by bewitched3
I am filling in a new dla claim form having had my renewal of dla turned down twice. I have downloaded and used the guide, which has been really helpful. However on the extra information question at the end of the form, which asks do you have anything else you would like to tell us about this claim. What is it asking for that hasn't been asked for with all the questions on the form? Do I use this space to explain that where I live I can't use the train station, due to the amount of stairs and the buses that can get a wheelchair on is quite away form my house, ans just explain how difficult it is for me to get out.
I don't want to live it blank if I can use it to help my case.
Thanks

Hi Bewitched,
If you've filled in the rest of the form in detail there may well be nothing left to put on this page. I'm afraid that the DWP don't take into account things like local facilities when deciding your eligibility for DLA.
Good luck,
Steve

Thanks, I just want to make sure I have covered everything and not give them an excuse to turn it down again. As the mobilty are coming to take the car back on the 10th of may. I'm looking to getting everything right and as much info for them to process the claim quickly. Before I'm not able to get out really.
