Next steps after failing a tribunal?

I have not received word yet if I have failed my IB tribunal, expecting the news any day now...

However, I have a horrible feeling it did not go well, if I should fail, as I am expecting, what are the next steps?

If you are indeed unsuccessful with your appeal, you may wish to appeal to the Upper Tribunal on a point of law.

There is a brief mention of the Upper Tribunal on page 17 of the The Best Possible Incapacity for Work Appeals guide available HERE.

Further details of the Upper Tribunal procedures can be viewed HERE.

thanks, I guess I will know soon enough, just cant get it out of my head that I failed...

Seemed more ATOS style questioning than previous tribunals I have had, and welfare rights have not been replying to emails, nor did they turn up...

So I dont even know if I can rely on the local welfare rights if do fail..

Rang them again, it had still not arrived..

Turns out they had the wrong address (although the write address was on the form I sent to them???) they may have typed it into a computer system incorrectly I guess.

So someone else (as it is a real address, similar to ours, but with part of the street name different, has my tribunal letter/result it seems.

I hope nothing confidential is in the letter... Nothing that could be misused..

I guess I will find out soon, as they are sending out another copy..

They say the rules are they cant tell me over the phone, it has to be in writing, can anyone confirm if that is actually the case, as I have been told in person at previous tribunals before I even left the building that I had passed, this time, its all secret... So very different from previous tribunals....

Still no sign of the letter, they are still saying they cannot tell me over the phone (can anyone confirm if that is really the case, or are they making that rule up because they dont want to give bad news over the phone?, I find it odd, as I have been told the result in person before...)..

The second letter they said they sent out has not arrived, and its been another week.. They have said they will send another one out.

Could they be trying to stall giving the result, so I miss a deadline for a second appeal if I win, this is all rather odd...
