How do I know if I am receiving my full entitlement to legacy benefits? I have to migrate by 25th May, tried phoning Help to Claim and cut off after waiting half an hour to speak with them. As a single claimant I have been in the support group for many years and receive Pip mobility higher rate and daily living lower rate (paper assessment in 2022 for Pip. I was last assessed for IB ESA in 2020 just before lockdown. Sent the paperwork in and never heard anything since. I do get a yearly letter with the changes in payment amount. Under living expenses for ESA it states: Extra money because you are severely disabled Extra money because of the Disability Income Guarantee Extra money because you are in the support group
Is this all the proof I need just in case there are any problems with the transitional payment. Will it go against me having someone other than an agency help me to complete the forms, e.g Family/friend.
I hope someone can help with this. I cannot keep trying to phone, my anxiety goes through the roof.
From what you have posted, it looks like you are receiving everything but I would always check with a Welfare Rights Organisation as they will be able to take all your circumstances into consideration.
No, it will not go against you.
Let us know how you get on.
