PIP Calculations etc. was created by Hughie
Hi
I have looked through the training courses available with B&W and I think I already know the answer, but just in case I have missed a link or something can you tell me if you do any benefits calculation courses? I know this is a minefield of information, but it is becoming evermore difficult for people to fully understand or know what their full entitlements might be. I know UC has taken over many benefits and can lead to add on premiums etc, but it is a minefield to take in. A course designed from scratch showing people how certain benefits impact on their rent and council tax and what extra premiums they may be able to claim, plus better off calculation scenario's would be a brilliant place of learning. I am certain B&W would be inundated with applicants from people stressed to bits with the way things are going. There are so many differing situations. For instance, I believe 2 people can claim Carer's Allowance for each other as long as they both receive Enhanced Daily Living component. Unfortunately, people don't know whether they would be better off going down that route as opposed to leaving their current situation alone as it might currently be. The help just isn't available out there as it should be and genuine claimants could be losing a lot of money. Anyway, I hope you don't mind me asking. It's just a thought. Thank You.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Hughie
You can always email Steve at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and put in a request.
Putting together courses is a lengthy process and things like rent and council tax and additional premiums are all outside of the current remit of the site and would require people with specialist welfare knowledge.
