hi all , can i just ask please, as i am on esa support group and not yet heard about migration to uc if i am migrated before april 2026 will this mean a full assessment due to me being on support group under section 35 , or will i still be put in the unable to work group in uc. i am confused as i thought we all would be migrated this year, but now the new rules say if under section 35 you would be assessed again if migrated before april 2026, my wife is my appointee so would this help me with any assessment. i am so confused can it be put in easy to understand terms for me at all please , i have recently had my pip review last month and have 10 year award enhanced on both will the uc take this review into account, sorry for the number of questions, many thanks .

Hi reds123

You should be migrated to UC this year. You won't be affected by the Benefits changes this year and it is unlikely that you will be re-assessed next year as there are huge backlogs to get through first and there maybe exemptions for Appointees.
