P.I.P Tribunal was created by IanO
We have had a mandatory reconsideration for my wife's P.I.P - Planning and following a journey which has been declined and now we have to appeal.

My wife suffers from chronic anxiety, stress and depression. Would her chance of success be less if she is unable to attend in person and does it via phone or video call?

Hi IanO

I'm sorry that your wife's MR was not successful. You are not alone - only about 27% of MRs are won by the claimants.

The chances of a claimant winning an appeal is just under 70%. However, people have less chance of winning if they have a paper-based decision. I can't find figures that break down the difference between a telephone/video or face-to-face decision.
