The work coach replied this morning. They still haven't said a word about the "Tell us about your work search" and just ignored it completely.
She keeps saying that I have been told on numerous occasions that the meeting is nothing to worry about (we asked twice re the work search. She said that if I don't go for a face-to-face meeting my claim will be delayed by an extra 4 to 6 weeks Also they can't progress my claim without the ID check so obviously i will go but don't want to fill in the work search as by the DWP rules I don't have too until they have established which conditionality gp I will be in. I SHOULD be migrated from irESA Support gp to UC LCWRA gp automatically in theory. Should I leave the work search. blank as it does not apply to me? Even if it did. they haven't confirmed my ID yet? I fear trouble ahead. Please advise. Oh no response from the district manager yet.

Hi j112009,

I have located the work email of the local manager Rachel Musson which is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
I would send an email stating that you have sent her a message in your UC Journal and please would she verify receipt. It could be that the Work Coach was too busy to remember to forward it !

Hi David, I have also Migrated over to UC from income related ESA Support group, i gave them correct ID OF Driving licence and Tax credit payment amount, but it says we need to call you now? my partner gave the same information and also used his driving licence and tax credit amount and he was verified straight away and allowed to accept no commitments but i am being forced to speak with them, when i can't cope with this kind of pressure, do you know the direct email for Bournemouth area manager so i can email them, as this is making me want to end my life, i've been through so much in my life already, these DWP appointments have caused me to self harm on many occasions over the years. Kind regards

Hi louise,

I would first make the complaint to the manager via the UC Journal.
The Jobcentreplus manager for Bournemouth is Jodie Wilson. So type out your complaint in the UC Journal for the attention of Jodie Wilson, District Manager. When you have typed out the complaint in your UC Journal, from the drop down list choose Work Coach. Then you can copy and paste the same message and this time from the drop down list choose the option " Service Issue ". It is important to send the complaint twice as they have been known to get lost in the DWP pipework.
Let me know how you get on.
