PIP Changes was created by Hughie
Hi everyone
I am sure this will have been covered already, but it is concerning going forward. The new Government has seemingly taken on the mantle of the last horrow show. They have not denied following through the ridiculous idea of exchanging PIP money for services. The logistics of this are ridiculous to start with. No-one can presently get any appointments with appropriate services for ridiculous time constraints and any new ideas down this route will serve only to absolutely clog the system up full stop. I know the last Tory Government were looking at a complete overhaul but Labour, as per usual, are not giving out any kind of substantial response. They speak in bubbles and no-one is any further forward with their thoughts. I am sixty eight years old tomorrow and I need my cash paymets of PIP as they help me enormously to prioritise what I know benefits me and not what some cicil servant says will benefit me. I have the motability car and I pay for private Physio regularly. I also try to spend time in the Summer down South where my Son lives as the warm air is really beneficial for my joints. I am worried sick that this could all be taken from me. Apparently they are having an initial consultation, but they are just being so evasive about it. I wouldn't put anything past them as we now all know they are every bit as ruthless as the other lot.
Any update would be greatly appreciated.
Regards:-Hughie

Hi Hughie
I'm sorry, we don't have any news to be able to report. Keep and eye on the newsletter - Steve always keeps it up to date. Any changes that are going to be made will not happen in a hurry.
