I would like to know that if you are in the support group receive Sdp premium and are moved onto UC, would they make you go for an interview with a work coach? If so Would that be regular or a 1 off? Also would that work coach have your details of illnesses or would you need to explains and show evidence? This along with the Government’s pip changes is frightening. Advice needed please
You may need to have a one-off meeting for identification or to sign your UC Claimant Commitment.
Your ESA award will be transferred without reassessment but this manual process can get out of step with the UC process, it would not hurt to contact your Work Coach if an appointment is booked to make sure they are aware of your ESA award.
If you do have a meeting then there should be no need beyond courtesy for you to explain your conditions and limitations, the Work Coach will not be medically trained and does not participate in the assessment process in any way.
