Hello! We’ve had a Ukrainian refugee family living with us for the last 2 years. Due to my husbands recent poor health we need to find them their own home now. They are eligible for 3 bed accommodation under the local rent allowance rules. Mum works and receives UC. The max rent allowance for 3 beds is £1950 per month. It’s £1550 for 2 beds. There is no 3 bed accommodation available at £1950 per month. My question is this: If she rented 2 bed accommodation, would she be eligible for up to £1950, or limited to the 2 bed allowance?
