If a CoC form is requested by a PIP claimant which then triggers transfer to ADP some months later, my understanding is that DWP will not gather any information about the change in circumstances and this will be done through the ADP claim process. Am I correct in understanding therefore that any change that results in a higher award of benefit will only be backdated to the date of the ADP decision and there is no requirement to consider backdating to the date the CoC was notified to the DWP?
I cannot answer your question as I do not deal with ADP clients, I would advise you to contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk a member on the forum maybe able to give you more information.
My uderstanding is that the same rules apply but I am not 100% certain.
