Random call from PIP was created by Sazsclobber
Hi all, I filled in my daughters pip review back in October 2022 and had the telephone assessment on 20/09/2023. I think it went well π€π» hopefully. My daughter suffers with chronic depression, ptsd and emotional dysregulation disorder- all from sexual abuse as a child. Iβm her appointee and Mum so did the form and calls.
I got a random call today 29/09/23 from PIP asking questions about the assessor and if I was happy with how the assessment went. Iβve never had this before and now worries that my daughter wonβt get rewarded PIP?
As anyone else had a random call asking questions about the assessor who did the assessment?
I really need reassurance please π they knew all our information and the name of the assessor.

Hi Sazsclobber,
Sorry to hear about what your daughter went through. It must be incredibly difficult to deal with. I'm hoping I can help ease your mind with this. The day before my PIP assessment, the DWP contacted me, and told me the name of the HCP who would be assessing me, however they did also mention that they were doing reviews of how well the assessors do their job - and asked if I would be happy to allow a senior person to listen into the call who was reviewing them? They said that they wouldn't say anything, they would simply listen in to the conversation to help them understand how it was assessed. I told them it wasn't a problem. So I'm guessing from what you've said, that it's something similar, but done in a different way, where they're wanting to survey you in a manner of speaking.
Regards, Chris.

Thank you for the reply Chris. When I got the call to confirm the telephone assessment call nothing was mentioned about an additional call afterwards. But like you say they may have done their reviews differently.
Hopefully we get my daughters results of the PIP review soon π€π»π€π» again thank you for the reply π
