Support group without a medical. Yipee! All due, i'm quite sure, to following the Benefits and Work guide. Thank You Pete
Great news BP,
Hey, be careful that you don't overdo those meds !!!
If you wish to know the recommended length of time (the prognosis) before reassessment, you should be able to find this out by ringing the 0845 number on the decision notice letter.
You could also request the ESA85A medical report whilst on the phone, although it may be advisable to back this verbal request up in writing.
There should also be an LT54 form.
Thanks for your kind comments regarding B&W.

Yes, I want to know how long I'm assessed for as at 62yrs a 3 year assessment will take me past retirement age (65) and no more hassle. Incidentally I'm also on DLA LRC HRM indefinitely, so hoping I may squeeze through to 65 before I get reassessed for PIP, probably not but we can live in hope.
Regards
Pete

Hi BT,
As you will see from the chart on the link below, if you were not 65 or over on 08/04/13, and have an indefinate DLA award, you should still expect to be invited to claim PIP sometime after October 2015.
"Aged 16 to 64 on or after 8 April 2013 :
Existing claimant :
If still getting DLA, will be invited to claim PIP (claimants who have reached age 65 or older will be contacted as soon as possible after October 2015)"
