WRAG to SG was created by ben202
Hi
First of all i would like to say a big thankyou to benefits and work for pointing me in the right direction through out this gruelling process. (To cut a very long story short):

I was placed in the WRAG June of this year after being on ib (CB) for 14 years, I appealed with the GL24, 4 weeks later(today) I had a letter from the Appeals officer saying I had been placed in the SG and they have notified the ESA of the new decision.

Question:

There is nothing saying about how long for? or will the DWP send me this info on shortly?

Also I have my first WCA appointment at my local Job Centre Plus on Thursday of next week, will I still have to attend with me being in the SG now? as I understand it, is that if you are in the SG you are not required to attend these WCAs only if you are in the WRAG?

Thankyou once again B&W

:cheer:

Congratulations that is great news.

Given the timescales, it sounds like the decision was overturned at Reconsideration.

There is no way for you to know with certainty when you will be re-assessed, as it will depend on whether the Decision Maker has updated the date, no doubt recorded when you were placed in the WRAG.

You can request your ESA85 if you had a medical, or ESA85A if you did not, which will give you your prognosis, which is usually used for this date. You could also try requesting this information specifically, although other members have had variable success in doing this.

With regard the WFI, try contacting the advisor, there is usually a contact number on the appointment letter, the DWP systems can be slow to update, so they may still require your attendance, if they are unable to validate that you have been moved.
