Hi
Was reading your great news well done indeed!! i am in a simlar position at the moment i.e. been placed in the WRAG and appealing that i should have been placed in the support group, i sent the GL24 appeal form in 2 weeks ago, two questions if you dont mind, firstly did you get a written acknowledgment from the DWP saying that they had recieved the `GL24 Appeal and how long did this take? did you phone and send letter asking for this? i sent my GL24 back recorded delivery per usual as i do with all important documents especially to DWP!! Secondly you say in your post as follows:
On phoning we were told that i had been put in the support group for two years (same as my WRAG decision) Question being i thought you could only be in the WRAG for a maximum of 365 days and that was it you were on your own with 100 pound a week less?
Regards
and well done for fighting your corner

One can be awarded up to 3 years in the WRAG. Although contributary ESA will end after 365 days in the WRAG, the benefit can continue on income-related grounds if the claimant meets the income/savings criteria.
