Your post is very helpful and I hope my son eventually follows a similar route.
He has multiple problems both physical and mental health. I'm also his appointee and therefore have the responsibility of managing his benefits. While we are waiting for a DLA review decision I was told today via a phone call that he had been placed in WRAG (without a medical) with review in Dec 2012. Only problem is his health is worse (it fluctuates a lot) and I can't be sure he will even be fit for the interviews!!! I think I will have to consider an appeal once we get the letter setting out the decision. However using the information on this site has really helped me to get this far.
