If you reach State Retirement Age before 6/4/2014 then you will not be transferred, if it is after that date, then our understanding is you will have to be transferred.I am now 62 last April, and was due my IB review on the first of July , until now I have heard nothing , do you think I may be in the catchment that if I reach 65 before 2013/14 my benefit will not change.
Thank you P.S. I live in NI

The legislation specifically statesThanks Gordon, but has this date been set, as I will only miss out by two days.
So unless your case is delayed for any reason, you should expect to be transferred.who reaches pensionable age at any time before 6th April 2014
Sorry

There is no leeway with regard to the date, as I said in my previous post, the legislation which was enacted to allow the transfer specifically states 06/04/14.Hi Gordon

Given that your IB review was supposed to be this month, I think you should expect to be transfered. We have updated guides in the Members area, including one that is specifically for IB claimants, that explain the process and the ESA tests you will need to pass.
