Hi Allan

I'm afraid everybody has mistakes/contradictions in their ESA85, or at least I've never heard from anyone who claims to have an accurate ESA85, if one exists.

Please read the ESA appeal guide in preparation for your appeal hearing.

Good luck

Derek

Hi, Allan

Definitely read the Appeals Guide as Derek says.

It's not enough to show the ESA85 is flawed. The panel have to decide whether you qualify for ESA. To do that they must be satisfied/convinced that your level of disability means you score at least 15 points on the descriptors.

So, for example, you may want to say the ATOS person got such-and-such wrong but, more importantly, explain the REAL situation ... e.g. that you can't cook a simple meal any more though you used to do it every day. Always good to have specific examples from real life.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
Andy.
