DLA renewal

hi everyone finally got a decision DLA mobility renewed for 2 years at high rate DLA care no award the DWP have not followed there own guidlines and even ignored evidence from my GP I am awating a new knee replacement whih wont be done for aleast 5 years cofirmed by hospital I have severe bouts of diorhria day and night and urge incontinence mental health problems and alcholism Imade acomplaint to vivien hopkins office on friday recieved phone call this morning and have been told they are going to get my file back and look at the decision again by friday of this week will keep you updated peter

hi just a update from last week on reconsideration i have been awarded Lower rate care alongside my high rate mobility peter

Getting a reconsideration is fairly unusual in itself, so well done. If you think you should qualify for middle or higher rate care, as you no doubt know the next step is to appeal to a tribunal, using the B&W guides will help you with this.
