DLA APPEAL was created by jacqueline snooks
i have been given a very supportive letter from my G.P. regarding medical conditions symptoms etc, however she hasnt actually signed it,her name is tpye written at the end, will this be sufficient?i dont want to submit it only to have it ignored because of non signature,if so id rather get it signed before sending it off.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Jackie.

Hi Jacqueline
I wouldn't have thought medical evidence can be ignored simply because it's not signed (ESA85s are not signed) but you're probably right; it would be best to have it signed if possible.
And also for piece of mind, as niggling doubts like that play on your mind.
Good luck
Derek

unsigned letters from drs is getting very common, many reports that I get from hospital like the copy the dr gets are sent out unsigned
sometimes but not often added to the bottom is the word
"sent out checked but unsigned to save time"
If they think its made up they can easily check with the Dr
