My Tribunal is on Thursday morning and I feel a bit scared. I have CFS/ME, Hypothyroidism, depression etc. I have not had a night out in 2 years and can only go out with my Support Worker once per week to appointments BUT.....I have heard that as ME/CFS is a fluctuating condition I will not be entitled to anything. I have no quality of life. Can anyone advise? I have a WRO attending and my Support Worker but am concerned as my GP, who only saw me once before writing his report said my mobility was normal - but he told me he fully supported my application for DLA. It's so confusing. I though I was coping well but maybe not so well. Thanks for any help you can give. Crow.
fingers crossed with regards your mobility question page 37 of the DMG has the rules

Can any of the mods let us know if Tribunerals will also be affected on Thurs?
I hope the strike does not affect your appeal Crow.
My partner has his joint appeal this afternoon.

Crow I saw on TV last night that there is a public sector strike on Thursday and this included courts and am wondering if your appeal will still be heard.

Hi,
Having just looked on the Tribunals Website (now part of the wider Justice website)there is no mention of the strike.
I suppose it will depend on how many staff decide to work on Thursday which will depend on how many and which departments are able to function.
It maybe worth contacting the tribunals centre dealing with any appeals tomorrow to ask whether the tribunals are planned to go ahead on Thursday.
Pete
