DLA to ESA

Hello there

I am slightly confused could you help. I claim and recieve DLA lower care and mobility and also recieve income support with the disability allowance.
Will I still have to switch to ESA as I am not able to claim IB?

DLA and ESA are different sorts of things. ESA is replacing IB, so won't be relevant to you. What will be relevant is PIP (personal independence payment) which is replacing DLA in a couple of years' time. The details of the criteria are still being worked on, but we're keeping you posted in the news section as we get information.
