Stop Press was created by toggleuk
I posted an article yesterday about Steve Cram for the Stop Press section which doesn't appear to be showing yet. Is it still awaiting moderation perhaps..or doesn't it fit some criteria as fit for publication. Just enquiring.
Thankx

Hi,
There are no posts in the Stop Press area awaiting moderation. I can only suggest that you post it again.
Was it benefits related, if not then perhaps one of the other moderators has deleted it.
Regards.
Pat

It was indirectly related Pat..concerning the flak, being directed to Steve Cram Int'l Athlete, on his Facebook webpage - for having accepted ambassadorship for ATOS as IT provider at the London 2012 Games. Many sick and disabled people are posting request after request that he read the related articles they are quoting about how ATOS are treating people in the welfare reform system and then in all conscience, relinquish his ambassadorship immediately.
So far, he, or his agents, deleted all the first wave of posts, now..the number of posts is increasing but he is staying totally silent and not responding to anyone.
I posted the link to his page
so others on this site might also add comments and put pressue on Mr Cram to rethink his position. I believed this constituted 'stop press news' of interest
Thanks

I've also posted a further link earlier today..to a letter from Claire Debenham in the Guardian about the treatment by ATOS of her dying brother...this also has not yet appeared? Maybe there is a glitch in the 'stop press' system stopping 'posts' getting through perhaps? Or maybe further clarification needs to be given as to what is and isn't pertinent for that section?
Kind Regards

There is often a fine line between what constitutes a benefits-related post, and what does not fit the criteria. This essentially is a subjective decision which can differ between moderators.
As Pat says there are no Stop Press posts awaiting moderation, so perhaps a moderator has deleted the post(s) which under the rules of the forum, is entirely his/her prerogative.
