dla medical test

hi all, im so happy to have subscribed to this brilliant site. I recently renewed my DLA claim, i have been on higher rate mobility and middle rate care for the past 5 years, and now they have dropped me to lower rate care even though i have extra needs due to a spinal problem that happened recently. I sent a letter asking them to look at che claim again and the outcome is tomorrow i am having a medical at home, so wish me luck guys, i will let you know the outcome, p.s im extremely nervous, i forgot to say i suffer from ME/CFS.

Have you got someone to be with you during the medical who can make notes etc during the medical and also prompt you incase you miss any important points?.

hi Pete, yes - my hubby will be with me and will be taking notes! I feel more prepared after downloading the "70 Questions paper"

I wonder how they dropped your award down when you have got worse, what medical evidence did they have. I would be asking them that question, this happened to me with my DLA award and eventually I took it to the Tribunal and won as my condition had got worse.
