Hi, I wonder if anyone could get the figures of what the DWP/ATOS are spending on testing or re-testing people who they know have conditions that will not improve? (And the claimants have medical evidence to support that). I can not see where they are saving any money where they are testing people on what looks like a 6 monthly basis. Or is this to show the benefit bashers and press etc they are cutting down on the scroungers! Best Wishes

Their reply would be,I believe, that claimants from the support group are retested to see if they've adapted to their conditions well enough to be considered fit for work. It's fairy story nonsense, but it continues because nobody outside a very few people understand what's actually happening so there's no outcry.

just thought I would let you know I did raise the issue with dla as to how they could change my motability component without looking at it
And they looked agin and have now changed my award for both care and mobility to an indefinate award. So sometimes it is ok to just ask why
