In theory, if a claim for IB terminates for whatever reason, there should be no automatic review of DLA entitlement as they are two entirely separate benefits with different qualifying conditions.
In reality however, for the past few years the DLA Unit have been cross-referring DLA and IB claims (and now ESA claims) to review DLA entitlement, and therefore there is certainly some substance in what the CAB are telling you. Having said this, all cases should be considered on their merits taking into account all the facts, and it shouldn't necessarily follow that a review of IB entitlement as in your case, would impact upon your DLA entitlement. The CAB should be able to tell you from a face-to-face interview if there is any risk to your DLA entitlement?
