Hello Metallichick,
Please don't be put off going to a tribunal. I have had to appeal twice for DLA the first I ended up at a tribunal the second I got a call just as I was about to leave telling me they had found in my favour and not to bother coming.
I was really anxious before the tribunal but when I got their I was put at ease straight away. The panel of three seemed to be onside from the start and I never felt they were trying to trip me up. They just asked about my days and how I was affected, I got a bit upset telling how I was before the illness and what I am like now but they were very kind and got me a glass of water and allowed me to carry on in my own time. The tribunal was all over in about 10-15 mins and I was asked to wait outside before being given the good news.
So please if you can go to the tribunal in person as you have more chance of winning your appeal and I am sure you won't find it as bad as you think.
Kind regards and good luck
Sue

Hi I know how you feel about the Tribuneral, but can only reiterate everything everyon has said, I had my tribuneral almost two weeks ago, just a Lawyer a lday acting as judge, and a doctor, they were very nice and to the point, not once was I made to feel silly, nor made to feel a fraud, they really are there to help, i think we all think they are there to frighten us, not the case, The day I was there three of us were waiting and I am pleased to say three of us won. I had a CAB Manage4r with me, I believe they put in a report themselves, but yes you have to answer questions, but that is entirely different to computerised questions, just be your self and when given the chance explain, and if you need to become emotional then do it, it allows them to see your worry and concern.

Recieved all the paperwork for the ESA tribunal, there's so much & very intimidating :( Most of the ATOS doctors report is not correct and it says i said i'm able to things that i expressed i have difficulites doing.

I think its now time that i seek advice from CAB but to be honest because i get very anxious going out & speaking to people that is gonna be a task in its self?!

Can someone tell me usually how long does it take for the tribunal service to contact you after recieving the paperwork?

I can believe how quick everything has happened i only started getting ESA in March, had my medical April & now this huge pill or paperwork...
