DLA

I am on high rate DLA care and motobility,also are retired,had a medical and was awarded DLA for life,our car is from Motability so if they stop the mobility part when you retire,we will be stuck here a lot as we only have a bus every hour from 9.30 till 4.30, I do have a scooter which I use quite a bit but there is only a limit for use especially in the winter,I know that people under working age on DLA are to be re-examined,does that also apply to people who have retired?I have just joined your site and find it very interesting, glad that some one is on our side at last.

As things stand at the moment, people who are over pensionable age should not be affected by the move from DLA to PIP.
